Those damaging Jinnah Peoples Train to be dealt with iron hand: Babar
QUETTA, Oct 06 (APP): Balochistan Special Assistant for Home Affairs Babar Yousafzai on Tuesday said that Jinnah Peoples Train is a public asset and project for people convenience, those who damage it would be dealt with an iron hand.
He said that immediate legal action would be taken against those who damage or endanger the Jinnah Peoples Train, saying that damaging a project intended for public convenience would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He said that the Jinnah Peoples Train is for the public, the people should benefit from it rather than attempting to damage it.
Babar mentioned that cases would be registered against those who damage the Jinnah Peoples Train and strict action to be taken in accordance with the law.
He said that miscreants are intimidated by the popularity of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, which is why they have resorted to such despicable acts.
“The legal noose will be tightened around elements that damage public projects”, he said and added that the Jinnah Peoples Train is a positive step for public convenience and the people of Balochistan, no obstruction to it would be permitted.
He said that let miscreants take note, every attempt to damage public property to be met with a response in accordance with the law adding that there would be no leniency for those who sabotage projects aimed at peace, development, and public convenience in Balochistan.
