ISLAMABAD, Oct 9 (APP):The Modi regime has intensified its efforts to change the demography of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) since August 5, 2019.
India is systematically paving the way for settler colonialism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir as it is granting domiciles to non-Kashmiris to turn the Muslim majority territory into a minority.
One of the main motives behind the revocation of Article 370 was to engineer demographic change in IIOJK and granting domicile certificates to non-locals is part of India’s sinister plan to snatch Kashmiris’ identity.
Kashmiris are being killed and evicted from their homes and land under a vicious plan to change demography of the occupied territory.
India’s efforts to alter Kashmir’s demography are in complete violation of United Nations resolutions and Geneva Conventions and the attempt of the Modi regime to alter IIOJK’s demography constitutes a war crime.
Kashmiris should resist the Modi government’s plans to alter IIOJK’s demographic composition and the UN must step in to stop the Modi regime from turning the Muslim-majority status into a minority.
