PESHAWAR, Oct 13 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Special Assistant for Information Samar Haroon Bilour on Tuesday rejected a social media statement attributed to retired Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan about the alleged discontinuation of the Sehat Card programme.
She said certain elements were spreading misleading information about the health initiative.
She also declared fake a notification circulating on social media about the termination of Professor Dr Nosherwan Barki.
Samar Bilour said the provincial government would not resort to political victimisation and would continue to prioritise public service and transparency.
She added that the government would continue projects in the public interest and hold anyone accountable for negligence or irregularities without discrimination.
