Political differences should be resolved through dialogue: Tariq Fazal
ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (APP): Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Friday stressed resolving political differences through dialogue, mutual consultation and parliamentary forums.
In a post on X, he said representatives of the government, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the opposition held important talks under the chairmanship of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
The participants discussed the overall political situation and national issues in detail.
Dr Tariq said differences of opinion were natural in a democracy and lasting solutions to national issues could only be achieved through dialogue and political reconciliation.
He expressed hope that the talks would help promote political stability, mutual trust and parliamentary traditions in the country.
