RAWALPINDI, Oct 16 (APP): The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has announced on Friday an e-auction for granting advertising and branding rights on wall panels at three pedestrian bridges along Peshawar Road for a period of two years.
Two advertising panels have been allocated at the pedestrian bridge near Rafay Mall, one near Kainat Travel and two at the bridge near Quaid-e-Azam Hospital.
The base price for the two panels at each of the Rafay Mall and Quaid-e-Azam Hospital locations is Rs1.6 million, while the base price for the single panel near Kainat Travel is Rs800,000.
Officials said the initiative would help generate revenue for the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board while also improving the visual appeal of the pedestrian bridges. They said the advertising panels would be installed in a manner that complements the surrounding infrastructure and maintains the aesthetic appearance of the area.
