Petrol Price Reduced By Rs3.93 Per Litre

Petrol price rises by Rs0.88, diesel cut by Rs1.88
ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP): The government on Friday reduced the price of petrol by Rs3.93 per litre for the next three days, while keeping the price of high-speed diesel unchanged.
According to a press release issued by the Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the federal government’s pricing mechanism, effective from October 17 to 19, 2026.
The price of petrol has been reduced from Rs390.23 to Rs386.30 per litre, while high-speed diesel will continue to be sold at Rs396.96 per litre.
The Petroleum Division said the price revision was necessitated by global market developments, including fluctuations in Platts rates, premiums and other incidental costs.
