DHO intensifies sanitary inspections across public places
ISLAMABAD, Oct 18 (APP):The District Health Office (DHO) Islamabad has intensified sanitary inspections across various areas of the federal capital to ensure cleanliness, promote hygiene and enforce prescribed sanitation standards at public places and commercial establishments.
Sanitary inspectors and field teams are conducting visits to different locations to assess hygienic conditions and identify areas requiring improvement to protect public health.
During the visits, field teams are guiding food handlers, business owners and other relevant individuals on maintaining cleanliness, adopting proper hygiene practices and complying with established sanitary standards.
The teams are also reviewing sanitation arrangements at public places to promote a clean, safe and healthy environment for residents and visitors.
The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of hygiene and encourage businesses and individuals to take responsibility for maintaining sanitary conditions in their surroundings.
The DHO Islamabad has emphasized that regular inspections and public awareness are essential for preventing health risks associated with poor sanitation and promoting compliance with public health standards.
Citizens have been encouraged to cooperate with health teams and report sanitation-related concerns to help authorities address public health issues promptly.
