ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP):Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday paid tribute to security forces for their operations against militants in Kalat and Pasni and expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Major Wajahat Waheed, who martyred in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Pasni.
In his statement, the Interior Minister paid tribute to Major Wajahat Waheed and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved family.
Naqvi said Major Wajahat had laid down his life for peace in the country and would remain immortal for his sacrifice.
He said every drop of blood shed by Major Wajahat and other martyrs served as a guarantee for the country’s security and protection.
The Interior Minister said Major Wajahat would always live in the hearts of the nation.
Naqvi added that the nation would always remember the great sacrifice made by the martyred officer.
