ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP):The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) will organize its 29th Sustainable Development Conference (SDC) from November 2-5, 2026 at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Rethinking Development in an Age of Disruption” which will bring together diverse voices to rethink development through three defining priorities including Economy, Environment and Equity.
According to organizers, the conference will serve as a platform for policymakers, researchers, academics, private sector, civil society and international experts to deliberate on emerging challenges and innovative solutions for resilient and inclusive development.
Running alongside SDC 2026 will be the 4th Sustainability Investment Expo (SIE 2026), focused on “Connecting Ideas, Investment and Impact for Resilient Development.” The Expo aims to bridge the gap between ideas and investment by showcasing sustainable solutions and fostering partnerships for impact-driven development.
The four-day mega event will feature plenary sessions, panel discussions, research presentations and networking opportunities focusing on climate change, green economy, social justice, sustainable finance and technological transformation.
SDPI said registration for the conference is now open and interested participants can register through the official link: https://sdpi.org/sd-conference/rethinking-development-in-an-age-of-disruption/register-member.
