GUJRAT, Oct 26 (APP):The Agriculture Extension Department organised the first phase of a training
programme for farmers in Kunjah to promote modern wheat cultivation methods
and increase per-acre yields.
According to official sources, department officials briefed farmers on modern
farming techniques, crop management and recommended practices for improving
wheat production.
The programme aimed to guide farmers on proper wheat sowing, crop care and
the adoption of improved agricultural practices to achieve better yields.
The department was organizing such programmes to promote modern farming
methods and enhance wheat production to help meet the country’s food requirements.
