RAWALPINDI, Oct 27 (APP):Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan Dr Oumer Hussien Oba on Tuesday invited the Pakistani business community to explore investment opportunities across five core sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, mining, tourism and ICT. He highlighted Ethiopia as a strategic commercial gateway to Africa.
Addressing executive members at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), the envoy extended an official invitation to Pakistani entrepreneurs to participate in the upcoming “Invest in Ethiopia” forum and FINTEX trade fair, scheduled from January 28 to January 31 next year, to establish direct business-to-business partnerships.
Ambassador Oba emphasized that as the seat of the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Ethiopia offers high-yield investment prospects for joint ventures and export diversification.
RCCI President Nosherwan Khalil Khan, along with Senior Vice President Waseem Aslam and Vice President Ikram ur Rehman Abbasi, held wide-ranging discussions with the Ethiopian diplomatic delegation.
