ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the tragic train collision in Toledo, Spain, resulting in the loss of precious human lives.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressed solidarity with the Parliament, government and people of Spain during this difficult time.
In his message, the Chairman Senate said that the loss of innocent lives in such tragic incidents was deeply distressing and a matter of profound sorrow. He said that Pakistan stood in solidarity with the people of Spain and shared the grief of those affected by this unfortunate tragedy.
Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani extended his deepest sympathies to the families who lost their loved ones and prayed for strength, courage and patience for them to endure this irreparable loss.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident and expressed hope that the affected families would find strength and comfort in this hour of grief.
