ATC dismisses pre-arrest bail pleas of Bushra Bibi, Asad Qaiser and others in protest cases

ATC grants 8-Day physical remand of two PTI workers in Nov 26 protest case
ISLAMABAD, Oct 29 (APP): An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday dismissed the pre-arrest bail applications of several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, including Bushra Bibi, Asad Qaiser, Junaid Akbar, Latif Khosa and Naeem Haider Panjutha, due to their continued absence from court proceedings in protest-related cases.
ATC Judge Abual Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain announced the decision while hearing pre-arrest bail applications of around 250 accused.
The court dismissed the bail pleas of Bushra Bibi, Junaid Akbar, Latif Khosa, Naeem Haider Panjutha, Asad Qaiser, Ali Zaman, Iman Waseem, Atif Khan and Fazal Muhammad over their repeated non-appearance.
Meanwhile, the court extended interim bail for the accused who appeared before it and adjourned further proceedings until February 11.
