FDA seals four plots over illegal commercial use

FDA directed to provide immediate relief to applicants
FAISALABAD, Oct 12 (APP): Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has launched a vigorous operation against illegal commercialization and sealed four plots over their illegal commercial use.
FDA spokesman said here on Monday that FDA Enforcement Team sealed four residential plots in Sir Syed Town over their illegal commercial use and warned their owners to get their properties commercialized before their commercial use or be ready to face the music.
Earlier, owners of the properties were served repeated notices and issued challans, directing them to discontinue illegal commercial use of their plots and obtain commercialization approval in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations.
However, they failed to comply with these instructions.
Therefore, FDA Enforcement Team under the supervision of Director Town Planning-I Afnan Saeed Sandhu and Enforcement Inspector Aslam Gujjar took action against these violations and sealed Plot No. 183, 187 and 191 in Block-A and Plot No. 4 in Block-D of Sir Syed Town.
Meanwhile, FDA Enforcement Team foiled an attempt to unlawfully occupy FDA’s cancelled Plot No. 334-B in Ahmad Nagar. The illegal structures erected on the site were demolished and the plot was retrieved from unlawful occupation.
FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhry had made it clear that illegal commercialization, unlawful occupation of public properties and violations of building regulations would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Such operations would continue indiscriminately to ensure strict enforcement of the law, he added.
