SIALKOT, Oct 01 (APP): An orientation session was organised on Thursday at the Institute of Surgical Technology (Centre of Excellence) – Metal Industries Development Centre (MIDC) Sialkot to welcome students enrolled in newly commenced 5th Batch of CBTA and regular courses.
The newly started courses are CAD, Machinist, Surgical Instruments Manufacturing Technician, Welder, Advanced Health Safety Environment & Fire Safety Officer, Import Export & E-Commerce, IT Fundamental and Applications.
The students were warmly welcomed by the Project Director, Principal, and faculty members, who briefed them about the institute, their respective training programs, practical learning opportunities, and the career benefits they can gain upon successful completion of their training.
The students participated with great enthusiasm and showed a positive response throughout the session. They were also informed that a comprehensive institutional visit will be arranged, providing them with an opportunity to explore the institute’s workshops, laboratories, classrooms, training facilities, and ongoing technical activities through practical, live demonstrations.
