LAHORE, Oct 21 (APP):Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in a bus accident near Rajanpur.
On the directions of the chief minister, the deputy commissioner Rajanpur immediately reached the accident site and supervised rescue and relief activities.
CM Maryam Nawaz directed the authorities concerned to ensure the best possible medical treatment for the injured passengers. An emergency was declared at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Rajanpur and other nearby hospitals to provide immediate medical assistance to the victims.
The CM also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and expressed her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families. She also directed the authorities concerned to take immediate action against those responsible for the accident.
