KARACHI, Oct 17 (APP):Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi has said that eradication of poverty is essential for building a safe, prosperous and dignified society.
In his message on the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on Saturday, he said that provision of safe and affordable housing to every citizen is an important step towards eradicating poverty.
The Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi said that poverty can be eradicated not merely through financial assistance, but by ensuring access to employment, education and healthcare facilities.
He said that the government, private sector and society must work together to eradicate poverty and promote the welfare of vulnerable segments of society.
