FAISALABAD, Oct 13 (APP):Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has inaugurated Department of Medical Oncology at Madina Teaching Hospital, here on Tuesday.
During his visit to Madina Teaching Hospital, The University of Faisalabad (TUF), he visited different departments and laboratories of the hospital and cut a ribbon there to formally inaugurate Medical Oncology Department.
He appreciated the provision of advanced medical facilities to the public free of cost. He also lauded the efforts of Mian Muhammad Haneef in establishing institutions under the Madina Foundation including Madina Teaching Hospital equipped with modern medical facilities, and The University of Faisalabad, known for its modern infrastructure and emphasis on quality education.
Later, the Speaker Punjab Assembly visited The University of Faisalabad (TUF) and toured Noor Siddique Akbar Library.
He expressed keen interest in the Islamic Gallery and its collection of Islamic antiquities. He also planted a sapling at university ground.
