JETOUR Auto showcases all-terrain capabilities at Global Technology Experience Day

JETOUR Auto showcases all-terrain capabilities at Global Technology Experience Day
BEIJING, Oct 28 (APP):The Chinese automaker  – JETOUR – has demonstrated its off-road technologies and outdoor travel solutions during an immersive test-drive event in Moganshan, east China’s Zhejiang Province, highlighting the automaker’s efforts to translate vehicle capabilities into practical travel experiences under its “Travel+” strategy.
Held in last week as part of the 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, the event brought together media representatives, key opinion leaders and user representatives from around the world. Participants drove company’s T2 and G700 models across a 15-kilometer route featuring water crossings, gravel roads, steep slopes and crater-like obstacles.
Under the theme of an “Off-Road Treasure Hunt,” the activity combined all-terrain driving with outdoor challenges, allowing participants to experience the vehicles’ performance in conditions designed to reflect real-world travel scenarios.
 Technology Meets Real-World Travel Needs
Beyond conventional test-track demonstrations, JETOUR incorporated practical outdoor challenges to showcase how vehicle technologies can support road trips, camping and long-distance exploration.
At a dedicated campsite, participants experienced flexible storage solutions and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, which powered coffee-grinding equipment without an external electricity supply. A simulated roadside obstruction involving a fallen tree also demonstrated the towing capabilities of the F700, highlighting potential applications in roadside recovery and trailer towing.
The activities illustrated how off-road vehicles can serve not only as transportation but also as practical companions for outdoor recreation.
Intelligent Systems Enhance All-Terrain Performance
During the test drive, the company showcased its 7+X intelligent off-road system, which allows drivers to activate specialized driving functions through a dedicated control. Visual artificial intelligence (AI) and chassis sensors work together to identify terrain conditions and support adjustments to driving modes and torque distribution.
The G700, equipped with the GAIA all-terrain intelligent platform, was tested against challenging obstacles, including camel-hump formations and crater-like terrain. Its integrated hybrid powertrain, three differential locks, air suspension and terrain-recognition capabilities are designed to balance off-road performance with passenger comfort.
The demonstrations highlighted the automaker’s approach to combining intelligent technology, vehicle capability and comfort across diverse driving environments.
Global Dialogue Advances the “Travel+” Strategy
Following the day’s activities, the Starlight Forum brought together international guests to discuss travel needs and the future of mobility. Ke Chuandeng, president of JETOUR International, and Yan Jun, executive vice president of JETOUR International, presented awards to winning teams from the test-drive and campsite challenges.
Participants exchanged views on how differences in terrain, road conditions and travel habits across markets influence demand for off-road performance, comfort and everyday convenience.
“JETOUR starts with users’ real travel needs, integrating technology, products and travel lifestyles,” Ke said. Under the company’s “Travel+” strategy, company aims to strengthen its capabilities in outdoor and long-distance travel while deepening connections among its products, ecosystem and culture.
The event reflects the automaker’s broader effort to extend the role of off-road vehicles beyond challenging terrain to encompass camping, exploration and other travel experiences.
Looking ahead, an official of the company said it would continue to pursue technological innovation and product development to address the evolving needs of global users, while exploring ways to connect travel with outdoor lifestyles and nature.
