PESHAWAR, Oct 05 (APP):The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department has notified appointment of Prof Dr Hassan Amin as Vice Chancellor of the University of Swat, Charbagh, for an initial term of two years.
According to a notification issued by the department, the appointment has been made under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act, 2012, as amended in 2024.
Prof Dr Hassan Amin is currently serving as Director of the National Institute of Pakistan Studies at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
The notification said his appointment would take effect immediately and could be extended for another two years subject to satisfactory performance, making the maximum tenure four years.
The financial package for the vice chancellor will be governed by the relevant notification issued by the Higher Education Department on May 27, 2022.
