Abbasi lauds security forces for eliminating eight terrorists in DI Khan
ISLAMABAD, Oct 26 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi Monday paid tribute to security forces for conducting a successful intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan, in which six Indian-sponsored militants were killed.
In a statement, the minister lauded the professionalism, courage and operational capabilities of the security forces, saying they had once again thwarted the nefarious designs of the enemy through their bravery and effective action.
He also paid rich tribute to Naik Ghulam Murtaza and Sepoy Taseer Ahmed, who embraced martyrdom during the operation.
Hanif Abbasi said the martyrs who laid down their lives in defence of the motherland were the nation’s true heroes, adding that their supreme sacrifices further strengthened the country’s resolve to protect peace, security and sovereignty.
He said the nation stood firmly alongside its security forces in the fight against terrorism and would continue to confront the enemy with unity and determination until terrorism was completely eliminated from the country.
The minister reaffirmed that the sacrifices of the security personnel would always be remembered with pride and honour.
