ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP):China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. has been selected to rehabilitate sections of National Highway N-5 in Sindh under a $100 million Chinese grant funded project being implemented by the National Highway Authority (NHA), with the contract now drafted for signing following approval by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on February 27, 2026.
According to official documents available with Wealth Pakistan, the project falls under the Ministry of Communications and aims to improve the condition of key sections of N-5, one of Pakistan’s main transport arteries connecting major cities, commercial centres, industrial zones and agricultural markets.
