IHRA conducts licensing assessment at Medicsi Hospital

IHRA conducts licensing assessment at Medicsi Hospital
ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority (IHRA) has conducted a licensing assessment at Medicsi Hospital to evaluate its compliance with prescribed healthcare standards.
During the assessment, the IHRA team evaluated the hospital against the indicators outlined in the Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) and prepared a comprehensive assessment report.
According to IHRA official, the exercise forms part of the authority’s ongoing licensing process and regulatory responsibilities to ensure that healthcare establishments meet the required standards before a licence is issued.
He said the assessment aims to evaluate compliance with requirements relating to patient safety, quality of care and public health.
Through such assessments, IHRA seeks to strengthen healthcare regulation and promote the provision of safe and quality medical services across Islamabad.
He said that the Minimum Service Delivery Standards provide a framework for assessing healthcare facilities against established requirements for service delivery and patient care.
He said that the licensing process also encourages healthcare establishments to identify areas requiring improvement and strengthen their operational practices to ensure better patient safety and service quality.
