Pharmacy Council launches new digital platform
ISLAMABAD, Oct 02 (APP): Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Friday inaugurated the new website of the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, aimed at improving digital access, transparency and public services in the pharmacy sector.
The new website provides an online portal for lodging complaints, verification of pharmacy institutions, access to latest information and official announcements, along with guidance on pharmacy education, professional opportunities and career pathways.
Speaking at the launch, Syed Mustafa Kamal said effective use of modern technology could help improve transparency, public convenience and the quality of services in the health sector.
He said the government was continuing digital initiatives to modernize the health system and bring public services in line with contemporary requirements.
The new digital platform is expected to facilitate students, pharmacy professionals, institutions and members of the public by providing centralized access to relevant information and services.
The initiative also aims to strengthen communication between the Pharmacy Council and stakeholders and provide a more convenient mechanism for accessing regulatory and professional information.
