ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the tragic incident in which two officials of its Enforcement Squad embraced martyrdom while performing their duties at Qureshi Mor, Bypass Road, Dera Ismail Khan.
Three officials of the Enforcement Squad, Sepoy Izharullah, Arm Guard Rahmatullah and Sepoy Sulaiman were performing duty at the designated point at approximately 11:30 AM when unidentified armed persons arrived at the location and opened fire upon them, said a news release.
As a result of the firing, Arm Guard Rahmatullah and Sepoy Sulaiman embraced martyrdom, while Sepoy Izharullah remained safe.
