Radio Pakistan to improve civil facilities at Rawalpindi, Rawat HPT centres
RAWALPINDI, Oct 14 (APP): Radio Pakistan has planned civil improvement works at its High Power Transmitter (HPT) centres in Rawalpindi and Rawat under the funds allocated for the financial year 2026-27.
The planned works include construction and improvement of Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) pathways at the centres, water boring and provision of water storage tanks, besides construction and improvement of bathrooms and other essential civil repair and maintenance works.
The works are aimed at improving basic facilities and maintaining the infrastructure at the two Radio Pakistan installations. The planned improvements will also facilitate movement within the premises and improve water and sanitation facilities for staff and other personnel.
According to the schedule, the civil improvement works are expected to commence from October 30, while a period of 27 days has been fixed for completion of the planned works.
The initiative is part of Radio Pakistan’s efforts to improve and maintain the infrastructure and basic facilities at its operational installations.
