HDA, Telconet discuss digitization of records
HYDERABAD, Oct 15 (APP):The Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) has planned to digitise its records related to land, property and planning to improve service delivery and make its operations more efficient for citizens.
The initiative aims to modernise the authority’s record-keeping system and establish a coordinated digital framework that can facilitate government departments, regulatory bodies and business associations.
HDA spokesperson Nadeem Yousuf said on Monday that Director General Afshan Rubab Syed had held a meeting with representatives of private company Telconet to discuss the proposed digitisation initiative.
The meeting focused on preliminary points ahead of a formal agreement between the HDA and the company. Telconet Executive Director Khurram Javed and Director ICT Umair Shahzad attended the meeting and discussed the proposed arrangements with the authority’s officials.
During the meeting, Javed gave a detailed briefing on the contents of the draft agreement, outlining the proposed framework for cooperation between the company and the HDA.
HDA Director of Planning and Development Control Mirza Muhammad Ali said the primary objective of the initiative was to develop a comprehensive framework that could serve the needs of government departments, regulatory bodies and business associations.
The planned digitisation is expected to support the authority’s efforts to improve access to records and streamline administrative processes relating to land, property and urban planning.
