KARACHI, Oct 09 (APP): Professor Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan, visited the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) to discuss opportunities for strengthening academic and research collaboration, promoting institutional linkages, and facilitating the exchange of experiences between the two universities.
During the visit, Professor Dr. Razia Sultana met with Qazi Abdul Muqtadir, Deputy Chair of the Senate of FUUAST, and Registrar Professor Dr. Inayat Ali Shah. The meeting covered various academic, research, and administrative matters, with a particular focus on enhancing cooperation, strengthening institutional relations, and promoting higher education and research.
Both sides agreed to promote mutual cooperation in higher education and research and to benefit from each other’s academic expertise, research capabilities, and institutional experiences.
Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Professor Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Dr. Saima Faraz, Dr. Lubna Bashir, and Secretary to the Vice Chancellor Rahim Bakhsh were also present on the occasion.
Professor Dr. Razia Sultana expressed her special gratitude to FUUAST Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari for his cooperation and support. At the conclusion of the meeting, Qazi Abdul Muqtadir, Deputy Chair of the Senate, and Registrar Professor Dr. Inayat Ali Shah presented Professor Dr. Razia Sultana with a commemorative shield and a bouquet as a token of appreciation.
