ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Friday on limited feeders due to ongoing development works being carried out by the district administration.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Islamabad Circle from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM, FHS, IT Park, Scheme-II, Kund Rajgan, King Hammad University, Chatta Bakhtawar, Pir Sohawa feeders. In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle power supply will remain suspended from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Kalyal feeder. Similarly, in Attock Circle power supply will remain suspended from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Garhi Afghana, Small Industrial Estate, Pour Miana, Lala Rukh, Lala Zar, Khan Abad feeders. In Chakwal Circle electricity supply will remain suspended from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Bhar Pur feeder.
IESCO management apologized to its valued consumers for this temporary interruption in electricity supply. The sole purpose of these shutdowns was to facilitate the timely completion of development projects included construction of flyovers, underpasses, installation of new 11kV feeders, road widening and other related development activities.
For the convenience of consumers, temporary electricity shutdown schedules were also uploaded on IESCO’s official website, www.iesco.com.pk, and its official social media platforms, including Facebook (IESCO Updates) and Twitter/X (IESCO Official Pk).
