Azma accuses political party of spreading false propaganda

Minister Azma clarifies Punjab Police’s position on Iqrar-ul-Hassan
LAHORE, Oct 14 (APP):Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has accused a particular political party of spreading false propaganda to earn dollars, saying its leaders are enjoying themselves while pushing their own party towards destruction.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, she said Punjab was leading the country in public transport, including Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and green bus services. Those who had previously dismissed such buses as “jangla buses” could no longer ignore their utility and importance, she added.
The provincial minister said Punjab did not need to seek anything from anyone except Almighty Allah, but was ready to extend assistance to any other province requiring support.
Expressing hope for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, she said that, Insha’Allah, corruption and incompetence would be brought to an end, terrorism would be overcome, and a new era of development and prosperity would begin in the province.
