Govt committed to restore peace in KP: Abid Sher Ali
ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP):Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Abid Sher Ali focused that the government would establish peace and security in the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) and promote the development for the prosperity and welfare of the people.
Speaking to the media at Parliament House, he said the government would effectively manage development and security affairs in the province, adding that its efforts would be visible across the country.
“Pakistan comes first, followed by any political party or personality,” he said, emphasizing that all political parties and state institutions shared the common mission of protecting the country.
He said his party stood firmly with the state and its institutions, adding that any rhetoric directed against them was not in the country’s interest.
He stressed that national security required unity and collective responsibility.
Senator said dialogue remained an ongoing effort, but there would be no compromise with those who attacked the state and its institutions.
He highlighted the sacrifices rendered by security forces and civilians.
