QUETTA, Oct 25 (APP):Security forces successfully neutralized a high-ranking terrorist commander in the Killa Saifullah district of Balochistan under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad-3.
Security Sources told that the intelligence-based operation targeted and eliminated a key commander Adil Shah alias Darwesh, affiliated with the Fitna al Khwarij.
They said that the slain commander had been associated with the terrorist outfit since December 2020. Since 2024, he had been serving as a central figure overseeing the group’s financial operations.
Furthermore, Commander Adil Shah played a crucial logistical role in facilitating the permanent settlement of non-local militants across Zhob, Sherani, and Shabgan.
Security sources said that he was directly involved in orchestration attacks against security forces, extortion, and kidnapping for ransom dating back to 2022 and 2023.
The terrorist commander was a fugitive of law, with 19 First Information Reports (FIRs) registered against him in various anti-terrorism courts. The Government had placed a bounty of PKR 2.5 million on his head.
Reiterating the state’s resolve, security authorities stated that operations against terrorist networks in Balochistan will continue relentlessly until the elimination of the very last terrorist.
