NATHIAGALI, Oct 25 (APP):The district administration has restored traffic movement on key roads in Galiyat following heavy hailstorm and snowfall, while efforts are underway to prevent slippery conditions and ensure safe travel for residents and tourists.
Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Hameedullah Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner Kamran Ali Shah visited Galiyat to review snow clearance operations.
The road from Baragali to Dunga Gali has been cleared, while the road in Changla Gali has also been reopened to traffic after snow removal by the Pakistan Highway Authority (PKHA).
During the visit, the available salt stock at the PKHA Inspection House in Changla Gali was inspected, and the relevant staff were directed to ensure salting of roads wherever required to prevent vehicles from skidding
