ISLAMABAD, Oct 04 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone has warned of strict legal action against individuals creating fake social media pages and accounts using the agency’s name, identity or logo to mislead the public.
According to an official told on Sunday, some individuals were allegedly operating fake social media pages and accounts by impersonating the FIA Islamabad Zone and making unauthorized use of its identity.
The FIA Islamabad Zone said anyone found creating fake pages or accounts, misleading citizens, spreading false information or using the FIA’s identity without authorization would face action in accordance with the law.
