Governor Balochistan reaffirms support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination on Black Day

Delegation of Youth Leaders parliament calls on Governor
QUETTA, Oct 27 (APP):Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail on Tuesday said that the observance of Kashmir Black Day on October 27 aims to raise voice against India’s occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and to reaffirm support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
In a message issued on the occasion of Kashmir Black Day, the governor said that solidarity was being expressed with Kashmiri brothers and sisters across the country through gatherings, rallies and public demonstrations.
Jaffar Mandokhail said that Pakistan has consistently highlighted the Kashmir issue at every important international forum, including the United Nations, and has continued to advocate for a just resolution of the longstanding dispute.
He stressed that the international community bears the responsibility of playing an effective role in resolving the Kashmir issue and taking practical measures to ensure that the Kashmiri people are granted their fundamental right to self-determination.
The governor noted that Pakistan stands against oppression and injustice faced by subjugated nations and marginalized communities around the world, including those in Kashmir and Palestine.
He emphasized the need to draw global attention to the hardships and human rights concerns faced by the Kashmiri people and to build effective international public opinion in support of their legitimate rights.
Jaffar Mandokhail further underscored the importance of continued diplomatic and moral support for the Kashmiri cause, saying that a peaceful and just settlement of the dispute in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people remains essential for lasting stability in the region.
