Pakistan highlights Kashmir issue at every global forum, as United Nations: Governor

Governor thanks PM for directing launch of flights from Quetta to Jeddah, Iran, Gwadar
QUETTA, Oct 27 (APP):The Governor of Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, on Tuesday said that the observance of ‘Black Day’ on October 27 serves to raise a voice against the Indian occupation of Kashmir and to support the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination, in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
He said that solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters is being expressed across the country through public gatherings, processions, and rallies.
In his message, Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail noted that Pakistan has consistently and vigorously highlighted the Kashmir issue at every significant global forum, including the United Nations.
He said that it is the responsibility of the international community to play an effective role in achieving a just resolution to the Kashmir issue and to take practical steps to secure the fundamental right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.
It should be noted that Pakistan stands against the oppression and tyranny inflicted upon subjugated nations and oppressed groups worldwide, including in Kashmir and Palestine; it is imperative to draw the attention of the international community toward these atrocities and to effectively mobilize global public opinion in favor of the legitimate rights of the Kashmiri people.
