KARACHI, Oct 29 (APP):Three ships, Anastasia, Shandong Redwood and Simple Honesty carrying Soya Bean Seed, LNG and Coal, berthed at Grain Terminal, Engro Elengy Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal.
Meanwhile five more ships, MSC Veracruz-V, BSG Bimini, Adamas, YC Daisy and Cypres Galaxy scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Palm oil and Chemicals also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
Nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a chemicals carrier ‘DS Cougar’ left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Orca-02, Haj Ali and Bolan are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 182,323 tones comprising 158,811 tones imports cargo and 23,512 export cargo carried in 1,118 Containers (220 TEUs Imports & 898 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Nineteen ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them six ships, MSC Veracruz-V, BSG Bimini, Magic Celeste, Winner, High Tide and Gas Chem Alster scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Palm oil, Gasoline and Chemicals are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, LCT, FOTCO and EVTL respectively on Thursday.
