BISE Rawalpindi digitizes evaluation, online marking system
RAWALPINDI, Oct 28 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has transitioned to an automated online marking system featuring candidate e-sheets, QR code attendance tracking, and high-speed digital answer booklet scanning to streamline examination evaluation across the division.
Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Iqbal Mahmood confirmed the rollout on Wednesday following practical mock drills conducted with division-wide education officers, college principals, and examination controllers, said a press release.
Under the new operational framework, paper setting, answer sheet printing, trimming, and scanning are linked directly to a central digital dashboard for online evaluation. QR codes will verify candidate and invigilation staff presence, while the board’s Command and Control System will track examination centers via real-time video surveillance.
The board’s spokesman further added that district-level training sessions for teaching faculty will commence immediately to operationalize the digital marking protocol ahead of upcoming board examinations.
