NA body recommends Rs 5,000 per 40kg wheat support price, uniform subsidy for farmers
ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Free hepatitis C screening has been launched for members of the National Assembly and its staff at the National Assembly Secretariat under the Prime Minister’s National Programme for the Elimination of Hepatitis C.
The District Health Office (DHO) Islamabad has arranged the screening facility to facilitate parliamentarians and Secretariat staff, enabling them to undergo testing for early detection of the infection.
The initiative aims to promote timely diagnosis and improve access to treatment, helping prevent the spread of hepatitis C and reduce its health burden.
Under the programme, the DHO Islamabad is also facilitating free hepatitis C screening, treatment and medicines for residents across the federal capital.
The initiative is part of broader efforts to expand access to preventive healthcare and support the national goal of eliminating hepatitis C.
