NCCIA DG orders fully digital complaint tracking, faster case disposal
ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (APP): Director General National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed officials to strengthen the agency’s digital complaint management system to ensure faster investigations, transparent case tracking and timely resolution of public complaints.
An NCCIA official told on Wednesday that the DG Rizvi issued these directions while chairing a meeting with the Director IT Wing at the agency’s headquarters.
During the meeting, the DG was briefed on the overall performance of the Complaint Cell and Case Management System (CMS), data relating to complaints received daily and plans for further upgrading the system.
The meeting also reviewed technical problems affecting the complaint management system and discussed measures to address them.
Rizvi directed that all stages of complaint handling, from registration and investigation to case progress and final disposal, should be made more transparent, efficient and faster through a fully digital system.
He said the complaint management system should be upgraded so that every complainant could easily check the current status of their case without facing unnecessary delays.
The DG Rizvi stressed that modern technology, automation and digital monitoring should be used to ensure timely tracking of cases, proper follow-up and accountability of the concerned officers.
He said effective use of technology would help improve the agency’s overall performance and ensure timely relief for citizens seeking assistance in cybercrime cases.
Rizvi also directed the IT Wing to address technical challenges and improve the system to make complaint handling more accessible and efficient for the public.
