Court extends Nimra’s interim bail in foreign woman rape case

Court extends Nimra’s interim bail in foreign woman rape case
LAHORE, Oct 05 (APP):A sessions court on Monday extended the interim bail of Nimra, a suspect nominated
in a case involving the alleged gang-rape of a foreign woman,  until October 13.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Riffaqat Ali Gondal heard the bail petition.
However, further proceeding on the application could not take place as police
failed to submit the case record before the court.
The court directed Nimra to rejoin the investigation and cooperate with investigators.
Nimra had approached the court seeking pre-arrest bail, expressing apprehension
that she could be arrested in connection with the case.
Meanwhile, three other suspects in the case — Muskan, Mohsin and Ali — are
currently on judicial remand.
The Defence-C police had registered a case against the suspects over the alleged
rape of the foreign woman.
