LAHORE, Oct 30 (APP): The Punjab government has approved Rs1.10 billion for the procurement of state-of-the-art CT scanners for three major public sector hospitals to improve diagnostic facilities and strengthen healthcare services across the province.

Similarly, Rs300 million has been approved for replacing the outdated CT scanner in the Emergency Department of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) with a new 128-slice machine, while another Rs300 million has been allocated for the procurement of a 128-slice CT scanner for Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi.
