Natha Khan link road to be opened to public soon: Mayor Karachi
KARACHI, Oct 12 (APP): Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited the under-construction Natha Khan Link Road and reviewed the ongoing development work, announcing that the road would be opened to the public soon. He said that the completion of Natha Khan Link Road would connect Shahrah-e-Faisal with Gulistan-e-Johar, improve traffic flow across the city, and help reduce congestion on major roads.
Murtaza Wahab said that Karachi needed more such link roads, and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) was working on their construction. He added that providing better commuting facilities to citizens and reducing traffic problems were among the city’s key priorities. The objective of these development projects was to facilitate daily travel and address the city’s fundamental civic issues.
Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab further said that the KMC team was also working to improve the area around Guru Mandir and Meeruth Kebab House. He stated that road construction, rehabilitation, and improvements in basic civic facilities across different parts of Karachi were aimed at providing relief to citizens.
He added that the development of Karachi and the resolution of public problems remained among KMC’s foremost priorities, and under the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), efforts to serve the people would continue.
