MULTAN, Oct 27 (APP):Mobile police station units are continuing to provide police services closer
to citizens’ doorsteps in Multan in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister
Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
The Pink Mobile Police Station unit is operating on schedule at Suraj Kund Road, while the Blue Mobile Police Station unit is serving citizens in 17-Kisi, a suburban area of the city.
The units offer 14 different police services, including online FIR registration, e-tagging, character verification, driving licences and tenant registration.
The initiative is aimed at facilitating citizens by making police services accessible in their localities, saving their time and effort and strengthening public-police interaction, police spokesman said.
Citizens have appreciated the public-friendly initiative. They lauded Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Punjab police for bringing essential police services closer to their communities.
