Deadline for depositing second Hajj installment Oct 20: Spokesperson
ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Around 80 per cent of the available slots under the Private Hajj Scheme have been booked following the conclusion of the booking process for the Government Hajj Scheme, while approximately 15,000 slots remain available.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims opting for the Private Hajj Scheme have deposited Rs57.5 billion in dues.
Of the total amount, Rs30 billion were deposited through 1LINK PSID and bank cards, while Rs27.5 billion were paid through manual bank challans.
The spokesperson clarified that all private Hajj packages listed on the Pak Hajj App and the digital portal for the current year already include the cost of Qurbani, amounting to Rs55,000.
The spokesperson said the selection and payment for any additional facilities must also be completed exclusively through the digital portal, in accordance with the ministry’s directives.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised intending pilgrims to complete their bookings for the remaining slots as soon as possible through the Pak Hajj App or the official Hajj digital portal.
The spokesperson further emphasized that all Hajj-related payments must be made only through the official Hajj portal or the Pak Hajj App.
Pilgrims have been advised against making direct payments to any individual or company, as the ministry will not be responsible for such transactions.
The ministry has directed intending pilgrims under the Private Hajj Scheme to complete their bookings and payments through designated digital channels before November 20 to ensure transparency in financial transactions and timely finalization of Hajj arrangements.
