Family alleges false case registered against minor student over land dispute
MUZAFFARGARH,Oct 09 (APP):A family has alleged that a false case was registered against their minor son,Mubasher, over a land dispute, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding the registration of the FIR.
According to police at Chowk Sarwar Shaheed Police Station, the opposing party had pursued the registration of a case against the minor after allegedly failing to achieve its interests in the land dispute.
The family alleged that the complainant had earlier pressured the opposing party to settle the dispute in his favour. After failing to achieve the desired outcome,he approached police and got a case registered against the minor, accusing him of issuing life threats.
The parents alleged that police had booked their son without properly examining the facts and circumstances of the dispute.
They also questioned the registration of a criminal case against their minor son.
The matter was brought to the notice of District Police Officer (DPO) Mansoor Qamar, who conducted an inquiry into the case.
Further details regarding the outcome of the inquiry were awaited.
