PTI’s 14 years era of loot & corruption eliminated from KP; every penny looted to be accounted for: Amir Muqam

PTI long march will not be allowed to enter Punjab, Islamabad: Muqam
SHANGLA, Oct 25 (APP):Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Engineer Amir Muqam on Sunday claimed that PTI’s 14 years era of loot and corruption have been eliminated from the province and every single penny looted from the public exchequer would be accounted for.
He said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had rejected the chaotic and agitator group that deceived people on mere slogans of change, adding that there was no one left in the province to even mention the name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), whose politics had been buried in KP.
He was addressing a large public gathering organized by the PML-N at Besham, Shangla, on Sunday as a “Day of Gratitude” to mark the end of PTI’s 14-year poor rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Thousands of PML-N workers and citizens attended the big public gathering that chanted sligans in favour of PML-N leadership.
Participants raised enthusiastic slogans in support of Engineer Amir Muqam, PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The participants also chanted slogans in support of CDF/ COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistan Army, while expressing their resolve for peace, national security and stability.
Thousands of participants also raised slogans against the poor performance of the former PTI government that failed to deliver on all fronts.
Addressing the gathering, Amir Muqam said a large number of people had turned up despite the event being announced at short notice.
“I have no words how to thank you. I am grateful to all of you for coming here on a large number on such short notice,” he said.
He challenged YouTubers living abroad for creating a false narrative to come to Pakistan and witness the “sea of people” themselves.
He said similarly large gatherings had previously been held in Buner and Swat, adding that the people had become fed up with what he termed an unsuccessful government of PTI and its leadership.
He claimed that the PTI government had mostly relied on a fake narrative on social media for popularity and failed to build its credibility at both the national and international levels.
Amir Muqam said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had heaved a sigh of relief following the end of the PTI government rule that plunged the province into economic quagmire.
He said the people were happy to have been rid of incompetent rulers, claiming that no one came out onto the streets following the end of PTI rule.
He claimed that the former KP chief minister had only made false claims and failed to present any concrete agenda for public welfare besides failed to eradicate terrorism.
The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he added, had now fully understood the negative agenda of such political elements and rejected politics of agitators.
The federal minister said the PML-N did not believe in politics of revenge, but every penny allegedly looted from the public and state resources would be accounted for.
He said that comprehensive efforts were underway to improve every sector of the province and the people would soon witness visible changes.
“We will continue to play our role at every forum for the welfare, prosperity and development of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he said.
Amir Muqam said the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistan Armed Forces for the country were known to everyone and Pakistan continued to exist because of those sacrifices.
He said the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir had made every Pakistani proud, adding that holders of Pakistani passports felt proud of their national identity.
Member of the Provincial Assembly Muhammad Rashad Khan, former tehsil nazim Chakisar and PML-N Shangla District General Secretary Bakht Alam Khan, former tehsil nazim Puran Muhammad Ali, former tehsil nazim Alpuri Muhammad Tahir, PML-N District President Intikhab Alam Khan, Humayun Khan, Sabir-ur-Rehman and other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
