PESHAWAR, Oct 13 (APP):Rain disrupted electricity supply to 67 feeders in the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) region on Tuesday, with Peshawar, Khyber, Mardan and Swat among the affected areas.
According to a PESCO spokesperson, power supply was temporarily suspended to 31 feeders in Peshawar, 22 in Khyber, 11 in Mardan and three in Swat due to rainfall.
He said electricity supply to all other feeders remained normal.
On the directives of PESCO Chief Akhtar Hameed Khan, operational teams remained on high alert to deal with rain-related disruptions.
Repair and restoration work had started in areas where the rain had stopped, while teams would begin work in other affected areas as soon as weather conditions allowed.
The spokesperson advised consumers to call the PESCO helpline at 118 to register electricity-related complaints.
