ISLAMABAD, Oct 19 (APP):On the directions of First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari, key government buildings, including the President’s Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Parliament House and Cabinet Secretariat, will be illuminated in pink on the evenings of 19 and 20 October to mark Pinktober, the annual breast cancer awareness campaign.
The initiative is aimed at raising public awareness about breast cancer, highlighting the importance of early detection and encouraging timely medical consultation, a Presidency’s news release said.
The buildings will remain illuminated in pink from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on both nights, reinforcing the message that awareness and early diagnosis can save lives.
