ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Malik Ibrar on Tuesday said that Pakistan has always played positive role in promoting peace and ease tension among conflicting countries internationally.
Talking to the media outside the Parliament House, he praised the joint efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of the Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir for successful diplomatic successes.
“Pakistani’s diplomatic efforts were yielding significant successes at the international level,” he said.
He also said that Pakistan had been blessed with great respect and recognition for its efforts to facilitate dialogue between Iran and the United States.
He added that Pakistan had also played an important mediatory role in the Saudi Arabia-related matter.
He said the primary objective of mediation was to ease tensions between the parties, improve the situation and prevent further escalation of conflicts.
He described such diplomatic efforts as highly significant for promoting regional peace and stability.
